Elopements & Weddings at The Inn On First

The Inn On First is proud to offer “Intimate Weddings Napa Valley” as our exclusive wedding planner and coordinator for elopement and wedding packages. 
While we allow elopement weddings for in-house guests only, we also have found two magnificent vineyard locations to offer our guests to host a wedding ceremony. As part of the package, Sonja will help you plan, prepare, and ensure that your wedding day is every bit as perfect as your stay at The Inn On First. We will provide you with deluxe accommodations with inventive, hand-crafted cuisine, fireplaces and whirlpool tubs in every room, and excellent service before and during your stay. Sonja will provide you with a carefree and worry-free event with every detail worked out to your wishes and desires.

Together we’ve put the following wedding packages for The Inn On First couples who want a special intimate wedding in Napa Valley for 2 to 20 people. All packages are priced for 2 to 4 guests and may be customized in any way. Additional guests (not to exceed a maximum of 20) may be added for additional fees.

An Inn-timate Wedding

:: $1499 (December through February), $1799 (March through November)- 2 to 6 people.  For parties of 7 or more, add $130 per guest.  All wedding guests must be guests of The Inn On First with a minimum two-night stay.

Napa's best bed and breakfast inn is the perfect place for that small intimate wedding. We provide you with a wedding coordinator to help plan your day.   With unlimited phone and email support 2 months prior to the date she will ensure your day is trouble-free, will help you obtain your Napa County license, as well as provide on-site day-of coordination services.  You can select from her a la carte menu of options if you would like her to arrange photography, flowers, cake, or a musician, such as a solo harpist or guitarist. You are welcome to utilize the sound system for your listening pleasure.  The night of arrival we will provide a wine and cheese reception for you and your guests to enjoy in the living room or the outdoor patio (weather permitting).

At the end of the service you and your guests will be provided with a champagne toast, and we will provide you with a $200 dining gift certificate for a local restaurant, or a spa gift certificate good for one in-room Couple’s Massage.  This package also includes a single room two-night stay in one of our Honeymoon Suites, or the best available room for the bride and the groom. 

For receptions: we can host a reception at The Inn On First only if the whole inn is rented by you and your guests, for an additional $500.00 fee.  The ceremony and reception is still restricted to in-house guests only.  Our wedding coordinator will arrange a catered reception, made available as part of her a la carte menu.  Otherwise, following the champagne toast it is expected the reception will be off-site out of respect for other guests at the inn.

To ensure privacy and exclusivity, intimate/elopement ceremonies are held between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., followed by the champagne toast. You may choose from a variety of locations on the property: the gardens, the landing overlooking the gardens, or within the mansion's spacious living room. All wedding activities must be completed no later than 2:00 p.m.

We host intimate/elopement ceremonies Sunday through Friday from March to November, and every day of the week from December to February. We release Saturdays for elopements March to November, only if your guests have reserved the entire inn. When all 10 of our guest rooms are reserved by you and your guests the ceremony may take place as late as 5:00 p.m., with the option of a catered three-hour dinner reception at the inn.

For parties of 6 or fewer, the standard cancelation policies of The Inn On First will apply.

For parties of 7 or more, there is a 90-day cancelation policy for all intimate/elopement wedding packages.  All cancelations carry a 15% of total penalty.  50% of deposit is due at time of reservation and is non-refundable within 90 days of date of arrival.   Full amount due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. 

The Inn On First Basic Elopement Package

$1500 weekday elopements (Sunday- Friday)
Includes all taxes, tips, and fees (up to 4 people)

First, choose your location: either the glorious Brix Gardens hidden in the Rutherford region of Napa Valley or a private and very exclusive vineyard estate that sits above the Napa Valley with commanding views of the whole region.

With the Brix Gardens location you are limited to an 11:00 a.m. or a 4:00 p.m. start time for the ceremony, and you will receive a $100 meal gift certificate to Brix Restaurant.

With the private estate vineyard location you can plan the ceremony start time between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. And you will receive a $100 meal gift certificate to one of the great local restaurants.

This package also includes:

Wedding Photography: One hour of wedding photography. You will receive a bound proof book, and all images will be displayed online. Digital files and negatives will be given as a gift.

Fresh Flowers: Sonja will coordinate your bouquet and boutonniere from a local florist and give you all the information you need on how to obtain your wedding license in Napa Valley.

Your Toast: Following your ceremony you will enjoy a champagne toast with a bottle of Napa's finest sparkling wine.

The Inn On First All-inclusive Elopement Package

$2500 weekday elopements $2800 weekend
Includes all taxes, tips, and fees (up to 4 people)

You will receive all of the exciting things in the Basic Elopement Package, plus the following:

Limousine Service: A private driver for 4-hours in a sedan, to drive you to and from the location, to the restaurant, and will include wine-tasting and touring of the Napa Valley.

Officiant: A private minister who will take care of obtaining your license and will help you plan a special ceremony just the way you want it.

The Cake: A small 2-person wedding cake from a local bakery.

Sunset Weddings

During the summer months we provide the option of a Sunset wedding at the private estate vineyard for an additional charge of $300.00.

May — October :: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Sunset times vary based on time of year, availability of property, and weather permitting.
